Child Safety Standards

1. Our Commitment

JobRoute ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to providing a safe platform for all users. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. These standards apply to all users, HR Mentors, and any third parties interacting through the JobRoute platform.

2. Scope

JobRoute is a career guidance and job discovery platform designed for students and early-career professionals in India. All interactions on the platform are strictly professional in nature. We do not permit personal, romantic, or non-professional communication between users.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

  • Any form of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) including images, videos, or text
  • Grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of minors in any form
  • Any content or communication that sexualizes individuals under the age of 18
  • Any attempt to establish inappropriate personal relationships with minors through the platform
  • Using the platform to share, distribute, or link to prohibited content

Violation of these standards will result in immediate permanent account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.

4. In-App Reporting Mechanism

  • Use the in-app "Report" option available on user profiles and chat sessions
  • Email us at: support@jobroute.co.in
  • All reports are reviewed within 24 hours
  • We take action including account suspension, permanent bans, and authority reporting where required

5. How We Handle CSAM

  • The content is immediately removed from the platform
  • The responsible account is permanently terminated
  • The incident is reported to relevant Indian law enforcement and the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in)
  • We cooperate fully with any resulting investigation

6. Legal Compliance

JobRoute complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including:

  • The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012
  • The Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules
  • The IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021
  • Any other applicable Indian and international child protection laws

7. HR Mentor Accountability

All HR Mentors onboarded on JobRoute are required to:

  • Comply with these Child Safety Standards
  • Maintain professional conduct in all mentorship sessions
  • Report any inappropriate contact or content immediately to support@jobroute.co.in

Violation of these standards by HR Mentors will result in immediate removal from the platform.
